Meet Glow SiliPins, the soft-grip dressmaker pins you know and love, with glow-in-the-dark silicone heads that add a little extra fun to your sewing room.

Thoughtfully designed for everyday sewing, Glow SiliPins combine soft, grippy silicone heads with ultra-sharp, fine shafts for easier, more comfortable pinning.

Expose the silicone heads to light, then watch them glow when the lights go down. When properly charged, their glow can also make your pins easier to spot when sewing at night or working in lower light.

SiliPins were originally developed to make pinning easier for people with arthritis, reduced grip strength and dexterity challenges. Their larger, soft-grip heads make them easier to handle than traditional dressmaker pins.

They're a thoughtful choice for sewists of all abilities, from beginners to experienced makers.

Glow-in-the-dark heads: Expose the silicone heads to light to charge their glow, then watch them illuminate in low light and darkness. When properly charged, the glowing heads can also make your pins easier to spot when sewing at night or working in lower light.

Soft-grip silicone heads: Comfortable to hold and easy to pick up, even for those with reduced grip strength or dexterity challenges.

Highly visible: The distinctive silicone heads make SiliPins easy to spot while you're sewing and help make dropped pins easier to find.

Flat, non-rolling design: Cleverly designed flat silicone heads help prevent your pins from rolling off your sewing table and onto the floor.

Ultra-sharp, fine shafts: Designed to glide smoothly through fabric.

Heat-resistant heads: Silicone heads withstand temperatures of up to approximately 300°C, making them convenient when pressing.

Generous length: 47 mm overall, including a 35 mm shaft and 12 mm silicone head.

Fine shaft diameter: Approximately 0.55 mm.

Magnet-friendly: Compatible with magnetic pin cushions and pin dishes.

About the glow

Glow SiliPins need to be exposed to light before they'll glow in the dark. Natural daylight or a bright UV light will give the silicone heads the strongest charge.

The brightness and duration of the glow will vary depending on how much light the pins have absorbed and the type of light used. Depending on the charge, the glow may remain visible for around 15 minutes to several hours, gradually fading over time.

Glow SiliPins are not designed for sewing in complete darkness. The glow is intended primarily as a fun feature, with the added benefit of potentially making your pins a little easier to spot when sewing at night or in lower light.
