If your pins are not staying put on your magnetic pin cushion, please check that your pins are made of a magnetic material such as carbon steel, stainless steel, iron or nickel (all common metals pins and needles are made of). Many brands of pins are made from non-magnetic metals such as aluminium, tin, brass, bronze and titanium – these metals will not stick to the magnet needle holder. Sometimes pins and needles are made of a combination of metallic and non-metallic metals so if this is the case you may find your pins only have a light magnetic hold on your pin cushion.
Yes! Our silicone slap bands have been designed to wear for extended periods for when you just want to get your sew on! Whilst the band is firm and designed not to move around, the silicone is soft and won’t rub on your skin. If you find the band is too firm you may need to go up a size to one of our large 30cm (12in) wristbands.
Yes! So long as you have not overloaded your magnetic pin cushion (more than 50 pins) you should be able to move around freely when sewing and the pins will not fall off, even when bumped. Please be careful not to get the pins caught or snagged as this may cause them to be pulled off.
The design of our wrist pin cushions is based on the funky, old-school slap band that wraps around your wrist when slapped on. They are designed to fit snuggly and the band will adjust to wrap around your wrist – no matter the size. We have two wristband sizes available Small/Medium 24cm (9in) and Large 30cm (12in) so you will have the perfect option for your size wrist.

Returns & Refunds
Yes! We have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your items must be in the same condition and in its original packaging, including tags. Please note, we only accept returns on items purchased through our website. If you have purchased via another retailer, please reach out to them directly for assistance.
To arrange a return, please contact us at info@sewyourway.com.au, with a brief description of why you are returning your item/s and a photo of the item/s if possible. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All of our products are tested for quality and strength but occasionally a faulty product slips through the cracks. Your items will be considered faulty if they are received damaged, or they break within 3 months of purchase. Wearable pin cushions damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If the product cannot be replaced or repaired we will offer a refund or exchange.
Please send us an email to info@sewyourway.com.au outlining the fault, including an image if possible and we will arrange a refund or exchange. If you have any questions about our returns policy, please contact us. In the event that we process an order incorrectly or you receive a damaged or defective item, we will gladly replace the exact same item and we will pay the delivery cost.

International customers: Please note, you are responsible for any taxes, duties, VAT and/or customs fees that may be charged at point of entry to your country. We do not offer returns or refunds for customers who refuse to pay the duties and taxes. If you are unsure of your country's limits and rates surrounding imports, please research this before purchasing.
We recommend allowing the following number of days after your order has been dispatched to receive it (estimate only):
· Australia: 1-5 business days
· New Zealand: 4-8 business days
· Rest of World: 6-12 business days
We use Australia Post registered shipping for Australian orders.
International orders are dispatched via Australia Post International Standard Shipping or DHL Express.
We have chosen our delivery partners based on excellence and quality but there may be times when parcels are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, natural disasters, transport complications and strikes. Sew Your Way cannot take responsibility for delays out of our control. Our delivery timeframes do not take customs processing and clearance delays into account as these events are out of our control.
If your order arrives damaged, please get in contact at info@sewyourway.com.au as soon as possible so we can make it right.
In the case where a Return To Sender package has been received from Australia Post or the courier due to the customer not having collected the item, Sew Your Way is charged a return to sender postage fee. If the customer pays for the package to be resent, these charges will not be on-charged. In the event that the package is not resent, the Return to Sender charge plus an admin fee may be deducted from the refund total.
